Great Ocean Road and Grampians, Australia 2016

Day 1: Melbourne -> Apollo Bay “Great Ocean Road”

From Melbourne with a rented car we are traveling on Great Ocean Road for 2 days. 
· Distance - 180 km, duration 3 hrs (plus stops)
Sleep one night in Apollo Bay.


Stops:
o Split Point Lighthouse (best lighthouse, great view)
o Sheoak waterfalls (and if we have time we can do Erskine waterfalls as well)
o Multiple lookouts along the route
o Otway park (with treetop adventures)
o In the evening Lorne / alternatively in Apollo Bay (a walk on the pier and food)





Day 2: Apollo Bay -> Halls Gap “Twelve Apostles” 

· Distance – 300 km, duration 4:30 hrs

Stops:
o Otway Eco Park
o Twelve Apostles
o London Bridge
o Gibson steps
o Loch Ard Gorge

Day 3: “Grampians”

· Distance – 50 km around to visit the surroundings

Stops:
o Pinnacle (3 hours trekking) through Grand Canyon
o McKenzie Falls
o Balconies
o Reed lookout

Day 4: “Back to Melbourne stopping in Ballarat”

· Distance – 250km, duration 3:30 hrs (plus stops)
· Visiting gold rush town “Sovereign hill”
