Hong Kong Island: Wan Chai

Victoria Park. Begin the day watching tai chi practitioners performing their slow-motion shadow-boxing routines in downtown Hong Kong’s largest public space.
Times Square. This is what Hong Kong is all about: cruising fashion boutiques in huge, multilevel malls.
Queen’s Road East. A kilometre of quirky shops and the unusual Pak Tai and Hung Shing temples – not to mention ghostly Nam Koo Terrace.
Central Plaza. There’s a public viewing bay on the 46th floor (Mon–Fri 8am–8pm; free), which comprises a whole floor of giant windows where you can get a walk-around 360-degree view over the harbour and neighbouring buildings.

1000 steps near Melbourne, Australia 2016

The 1000 Steps Kokoda Walk is located in the Dandenong Ranges National Park. As the name suggests, the 1000 Steps includes stony steps that lead to the popular One Tree Hill; which starts at the cafe and leads up the top of the mountain.
If you are coming from the city using Public transport, the best train station to get off at is “Upper Ferntree Gully station” on the Belgrave line. From there it is just a 800m walk east along Burwood Highway to reach the southern end of the carpark – around 500m extra to get up to the cafe and the start of the steps.
Depending on your fitness, the steps can take between 30 minutes to 1.5hrs to complete the return trip. Many people walk up the steps, but those who are a little fitter may run.

From airport to the city. Trains run approximately every 10 minutes and the journey to the city takes only 13 minutes. The international and domestic rail stations link directly to the City Circle line, which means most city destinations are within a short walk of stations. Info

Skywalk and observation deck 50 AUD/pers. Like any skywalk or go into the void you can’t take your photo camera with you and you pay for the photos that an operator is making.

City break Frankfurt, Germany

Catedrala Sfântul Bartolomeu (Dom Sankt Bartholomäus) este o construcție gotică, care a fost ridicată în secolele XIV-XV pe fundația unei biserici mai vechi din vremurile merovingiene. Este cea mai mare biserică din oraș. Din 1356 împărații Sfântului Imperiu Roman de Națiune Germană au fost aleși în această biserică, iar din 1562 până în 1792 au fost aici și încoronați.
Din secolul XVIII, domul este denumit adeseori în limbajul colocvial „Catedrala Sfântul Bartolomeu”, deși nu a fost niciodată sediu de episcopat. În 1867 catedrala a fost distrusă într-un incendiu și reconstruită în stilul prezent. Înălțimea catedralei este de 95 m.

Targul de Craciun, Viena

Ce nu am facut pana acum, nu am mers si eu la un targ de Craciun, dar m-am hotarat sa schimb situatia, gata pe 4-8 decembrie sunt la Viena la targul de Craciun.

Dar nu doar targul de Craciun ma atrage la Viena anul acesta, ci am o dorinta vie de a vedea opera lui Gustav Klimt. Am inceput prin ai admira opera dupa ce am luat contact cu bijuteriile Frey Wille, apoi am facut un puzzle dupa un tablou de-al lui, apoi am vazut filmul Woman in Gold, ma fascineaza, trebuie sa aflu mai mult. Nu sunt o mare iubitoare de arta, dovada si modul in care am inceput sa-l admir pe Klimt, dar totusi am unele curiozitati legate de unele picturi. Asa cum si in Amsterdam mi-am alocat o jumatate de zi pentru muzeul Van Gogh, nu se putea altfel.
Un bilet pentru Upper and Lower Belvedere, acolo unde sunt tablourile lui Klimt, este 20 euro/pers. Este deschis zilnic intre 10:00 am si 18:00 pm, in perioada sarbatorilor programul difera.

Regiunea Gruyere, Elvetia

Nu poti trece prin Elvetia fara sa vizitezi o fabrica de branza sau ciocolata, fiind aproape de Geneva am ales Gruyere.

Pentru ca m-am oprit o zi in Montreux am ales sa dorm 2 nopti in Bulle ca sa petrec o zi in regiunea Gruyere.

Prima seara in Bulle nu am facut mare lucru, oraselul e mic si inafara de muzeul Gruyere nu e altceva de facut …

Dar a II a zi am pornit spre Gruyere Village, la 5 km distanta pe jos si aproximativ 10 min cu trenul, oraselul medieval iti incanta toate simturile. Chiar langa gara este fabrica de branza unde poti servi masa, poti alege meniul zilei la 18 franci sau fondeu la 24 franci, sau a la carte …

In orasel ai un magazin specializat in ciocolata …

Dupa ce vizitezi oraselul poti opta sa faci drumul branzei, un traseu de 2 ore prin paduri, cu o dificultate mica spre medie traseul e placut, puncte panoramice la tot pasul, mancate traditionala pe la jumatatea traseului si o diploma la final pentru hiking …
